1. The Hammer AI Privacy Advantage: Cloud vs. Local Execution
A core pillar of the best Hammer AI experience is our commitment to user sovereignty. Unlike many competitors that force all data through centralized cloud servers, Hammer AI offers a dual-execution model.
- Local Execution (Desktop App): If you choose to use our desktop application combined with local models (such as those run via Ollama), your chat logs, generated images, and character data never leave your physical device. We do not transmit, read, or store this local interaction data. In this mode, your privacy is absolute, bounded only by the physical security of your own hardware.
- Cloud Execution: If you utilize our fast, cloud-hosted models, your interaction data is securely transmitted to our servers for processing. The details of how this cloud data is handled are outlined in the sections below.
2. Information We Collect (Cloud & Account Services)
To provide you with a highly personalized and seamless experience, we must collect certain information about you and your usage of our platform when interacting with our online services.
A. Information You Provide to Us Directly
- Account Registration Data: When you register for an account to create your AI character or sync favorites, we collect your email address, a chosen username, and a password. You may also choose to link third-party accounts (like Google, Apple, or Discord) for easier sign-in, from which we receive basic profile information.
- Billing Information: If you upgrade to a premium subscription to access advanced features, our third-party payment processors (such as Stripe or crypto gateways) collect your billing details. Hammer AI does not directly store full credit card numbers on our servers.
- User Inputs and Preferences: Any preferences you set regarding the appearance, personality, voice, and lorebooks of your AI girlfriend, AI boyfriend, or roleplay scenarios are stored to customize your experience across devices.
B. Interaction Data and Chat Logs (Cloud Hosted Only)
When using our cloud servers, the core functionality of Hammer AI Chat requires us to process your conversational exchanges. We temporarily store textual prompts, image generation requests, and generated responses. This interaction data is necessary to maintain context in your ongoing conversations and ensure your AI companion "remembers" you across sessions. We do not use your private, uncensored roleplay chats to train our foundational language models.
C. Automatically Collected Information
- Device and Usage Data: We automatically collect telemetry information about how you access the Service. This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits.

- For Security and Safety: We monitor platform metadata using automated systems to prevent abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect the integrity of the Hammer AI infrastructure against malicious attacks or scraping bots.
- For Customer Support: To assist you when you contact our support team regarding technical issues, account recovery, or billing inquiries.
4. How We Share Your Information
Hammer AI firmly believes that your private chats are your own. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or private chat logs to third-party data brokers, marketing firms, or advertisers. We only share your data under the following strictly defined circumstances:
- Service Providers: We employ third-party companies to facilitate our Service, such as secure cloud hosting providers (e.g., AWS, GPU clusters), payment processors, and essential analytics services. - Opt-Out of Marketing: You may opt-out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the unsubscribe link provided in those emails.
7. Children's Privacy
The Hammer AI platform frequently involves mature, uncensored roleplay and is strictly restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from minors, we take immediate steps to remove that information and permanently terminate the associated account.
